Podcasts
Each participant will be given links to relevant podcasts including audio lessons about artworks you'll see in Berlin, art-making practices and historical stories relevant to your trip. You can start listening to them before you leave, on the plane, while you walk around the city, or when you get back and and are inspired to continue your practice.
Assignments
Everyday you will receieve an assignment to complete. Mediums will be recommended and can include: graphite, watercolor, silverpoint, acrylic paint and oil paint.
Critiques & Exhibition
Every participant will be asked to participate in daily critiques of student work. These critiques are intended to help you along your journey.
Before you go - Live & Video "Quick"shops!
Before our adventure to Amsterdam, you will be invited to a series of live videos on a private Facebook. This is a place for basic instruction and to discuss goals for our art journey. Questions can be answered about materials, packing materials for a flight and what my previous art-immersion group found helpful to have on hand during their experience creating outdoors.
